Saturday, July 19 in the morning a cribbage tournament will be held downtown Steubenville at the market in front of Mr. John Miller‘s table. 

Event staff at Penn State versus Oregon

We are looking for 100 volunteers to work as event staff on September 27, which is a Saturday, when Penn State plays Oregon in college football. 

Prayer for Francis

Heavenly Father,
We come before You today with heavy hearts, lifting up Francis, Your beloved child, who is facing the daunting challenge of glioblastoma. In this time of uncertainty and struggle, we seek Your divine presence to envelop him with comfort, strength, and healing.
Lord, we remember Your promise in Jeremiah 29:11, where You declare, “For I know the plans I have for you, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” We hold onto this promise for Francis, trusting that You have a purpose for his life, filled with hope and restoration.
As Francis battles this illness, we pray that You will grant him the peace that surpasses all understanding, as described in Philippians 4:7. May Your peace guard his heart and mind, bringing him comfort in moments of fear and uncertainty.
Jesus, You are the Great Physician, and we believe in Your power to heal. In Matthew 11:28, You invite us to come to You for rest. We ask that Francis feels Your loving arms around him, bringing solace and encouragement during this difficult time. May he find strength in You, as Psalm 30:2 reminds us, “O Lord my God, I cried to You for help, and You restored my health.”
We also pray for wisdom and guidance for the medical team caring for Francis. Grant them insight and skill as they devise a treatment plan. Let their hands be instruments of Your healing grace.
Surround Francis with a loving community of family and friends who will uplift him in prayer and support. May they be a source of encouragement, embodying Your love and compassion during this journey.
Heavenly Father, we trust in Your goodness and mercy, believing that You are with Francis every step of the way. In Your hands, we place our fears and hopes, knowing that nothing is impossible for You. As we pray for healing, let our faith be deepened, and may Your will be done in Francis's life.
We ask all of this in the name of Your Son, Jesus Christ, who is our hope and salvation.
